TRICARE, formerly the Civilian Health and Medical Program of the Uniformed Services (CHAMPUS), is the United States Department of Defense (DOD) health care program for active and retired members of the uniformed services and their dependents.

The TRICARE program includes prescription drug benefits for eligible recipients. The links below provide basic information related to TRICARE pharmacy benefits. In general TRICARE utilizes a Basic Core Formulary (BCF) which all Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs) must follow. However, MTFs may add other drugs to their individual formularies as well.
