AIDS Drug Assistance Programs

State AIDS Drug Assistance Programs (ADAPs) provide free prescription drugs to eligible low-income individuals with HIV and AIDS. ADAPs are funded under Title II of the Ryan White Comprehensive AIDS Resources Emergency (CARE) Act, which was enacted in 1990 and reauthorized in May 1996, and October 2000.
Eligibility criteria and drug coverage varies considerably among the various state ADAPs. Additional information about ADAPs is available through the links below.
